Cedar Community Hospice exists to glorify the Lord by providing spiritual, physical and emotional comfort to the individual and the family during end-of-life care.
Cedar Community Hospice isn’t a place: It’s a service that comes to you. This interdisciplinary team, including social workers, nurses, music therapists, home health aides, spiritual counselors and volunteers, is dedicated to providing superior comfort and care for those facing end of life. Our unique 13-month bereavement program comforts those left behind. Hospice-appropriate patients have a six-month or less life expectancy (as referred by a doctor) and are re-evaluated every 90 days. There are Medicare and insurance benefits for hospice care, and Cedar Community staff is ready, willing and able to assess patients for potential admission into the care program. We provide the four pillars of hospice service – routine home care, respite, continuous care and short-term inpatient care – throughout our service areas.
