Philosophy Statement:

As a faith-based Christian organization, Cedar Community is dedicated to providing compassionate, high quality care and services to all those in need, regardless of race, creed, gender, religion or socio-economic background. We believe in caring for the whole person. The solutions we provide meet medical, nutritional, educational, spiritual, social, recreational and emotional needs of all individuals affiliated with Cedar Community, as well as the community at large.

We believe that all people, regardless of age or apparent ability, should be given the best opportunities to ‘shine’ and live life vibrantly filled with meaningful involvement and purpose. We believe in creating ‘purpose-driven’ communities in which we recognize the abilities and talents of all of our residents and encourage resident involvement in the service of others.
