  • Annual Gala, Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010. More than 350 attend to enjoy dinner, dancing, live music, silent auction and more. Many sponsorship opportunities are available. Email ajohnson@cedarcommunity.org for details.
  • Live Reindeer for our 2nd Annual Holiday Memories Festival, Saturday, Nov. 13, 3 - 5 p.m. Kids of all ages enjoy seeing and posing for pictures with the live reindeer at this family event. Last year more than 350 people attended the festival. Cost: $800.
  • Cedar Community Playing Cards. We would order 1500-2000 decks, each with 52 different images of Cedar Community and a short descriptor printed on the side with the valuation and suit. On the other side we will include our logo, name and phone number and the primary sponsor’s logo. We would use this in a variety of ways – market our independent residences, donor recognition and to sell in our gift shops. Cost: $2,500.
  • An authentic 1917 schoolhouse, Ye Olde School hosts youth for a day of dip pens, slates, schoolmarms and connected desks. Enthusiastic adult volunteers lead discussions of their experiences as pupils or teachers, comparing 'old-fashioned' values with today's changing society. More than 3,000 students visit each year. The children use a workbook throughout the day and take it home to their parents. Sponsor will be noted on each workbook. Printing revised workbooks: $3,000.
  • Cedar Valley Center requires some equine assistance! Funds are needed to cover feed and other expenses for our two ‘retired’ Thoroughbreds, Frietto and Fancy.
