Work is scheduled to begin soon on redevelopment of the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center (CLHRC) Main Entrance, Reception, and Deli areas.

Why it matters: Beginning Monday, February 20, 2023, the CLHRC Main Entrance and Reception will be temporarily relocated to The Willows at Cedar Lake Main Entrance and Reception (the artist formerly known as Cedar Bay EastšŸ˜€).

What does this mean for you: All the same friendly faces will be at the temporary entrance/reception, but some amenities will be located in other places.

  • All other reception services will be available in the temporary location.
  • Blossomā€™s Deli will be relocating temporarily to the CLHRC Team Member Kitchen and Break Room. Tracy will continue dishing up delicious grab-and-go and made-to-order items. šŸ½ļø You can still call ahead your order!
  • The Pharmacy will remain open for the duration of the renovations. Orders can be picked up at a temporary window at the rear entrance of the pharmacy.
  • The Volunteer Office is now located on the first floor near the old facilities offices (down the hall from Cedar Closet). Bonnieā€™s phone number has remained the same. Stop down and see her!
  • The Cedar Lake Salon and Spa will operate for the duration of the project. But be advised that hours and location of service may vary depending on construction activity. Contact the Salon and Spa team at 262.306.4281 for hours.

The big picture: The CLHRC Main Entrance closure is expected to last from Monday, February 20, 2023 until mid-July, 2023.

Long story short:

  • The Willows at Cedar Lake will serve as our Main Entrance during this time.
  • Appropriate exterior and interior signage will be in place to aid in directing resident, team member, family member, visitor, vendor, and EMS traffic.

An unused area of the Cedar Lake Campus building in West Bend is being renovated into The Lofts at Cedar Lake, with 15 loft-style residences. The Lofts development is expected to be ready for independent living occupancy in the spring of 2024. Renovations of Cedar Bay East into The Willows at Cedar Lake are expected to begin in July 2023.
