Michael D. Wisnefske
Board Member, Cedar Community
Michael D. Wisnefske serves as a member of Cedar Community’s Board of Directors, bringing decades of business leadership, manufacturing experience, community development involvement, and a long-standing commitment to service. He has served on Cedar Community’s board for seven years.
Michael retired after a career in manufacturing. He was co-owner of Pro Holdings, Pro Tool & Design, and Pro Molding, where his work included designing, building, and repairing plastic and diecast injection molds while providing finished products to customers. He also served as president of West Bend Machine Works, Inc., a precision machining company focused on machining, new product design, and prototyping.
His professional background gives him strong experience in operational efficiency, problem-solving, product development, land acquisition, and business leadership. Michael has also been involved in regional economic and community development, including past board service with the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation and past involvement with the Campbellsport Chamber of Commerce, where he chaired the Community Development Committee and helped support the development of the community’s first industrial park.
Michael is a graduate of Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend, where he completed the tooling program. He is also a First-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and served as a volunteer Taekwondo instructor for more than 20 years.
In addition to his board service, Michael has volunteered with Cedar Community, West Bend Friends of the Park, and the West Bend Downtown Association’s Music on Main. He brings a practical, service-minded perspective to Cedar Community, shaped by his commitment to supporting families, team members, and organizations through stability, guidance, and opportunities for growth.
