Patrick O’Connor

Board Member, Cedar Community Board of Directors

Patrick O’Connor serves as a board member for Cedar Community’s Board of Directors, bringing more than 30 years of commercial banking experience and a strong background in nonprofit financial stewardship.

Patrick is a retired BMO commercial banking manager. His professional experience gives him a deep understanding of financial management, organizational sustainability, and the importance of sound financial practices in supporting long-term operations.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch College. His board and volunteer experience includes serving as treasurer for Historic West Bend Theatre, Inc. and Menomonee Valley Partners, Inc. He has also served as treasurer for United Way of Washington County and West Bend Country Club, and has been involved with Kiwanis Early Riser and Leadership Greater West Bend.

Through his volunteer service, Patrick has developed a strong appreciation for the role nonprofit organizations play in supporting residents and the broader community. His commercial banking background and nonprofit treasury experience support Cedar Community’s ability to plan responsibly for current and future needs.

Patrick also has a personal connection to Cedar Community. His mother-in-law was a resident for five years, giving him a firsthand view of the compassionate care Cedar Community provides to residents and families.
