Rev. Ashley Nolte

Director, Cedar Community Board of Directors

Rev. Ashley Nolte serves on Cedar Community’s Board of Directors. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and brings experience in spiritual care, nonprofit leadership, counseling, community service, and whole-person support.

Since 2016, Rev. Nolte has served as pastor of Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Grafton, Wisconsin. She previously served Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Kiel, Wisconsin. With more than 15 years of ordained ministry experience and nearly two decades of work in nonprofit organizations, she brings a thoughtful understanding of community, faith, aging, family support, and belonging.

Rev. Nolte earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theological Studies from Elmhurst University, a Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lakeland University. She is a member of the Next Generation Leadership Initiative, Pension Boards of the United Church of Christ which is designed to equip and mentor UCC pastors for long-term congregational leadership through advanced training, coaching, peer cohorts, and financial support. She is a licensed professional counselor-in training and substance abuse counselor-in training in Wisconsin.

Her board and volunteer experience includes service with UCCi, Restoring Waters, Grafton Little League, and Capuchin Community Services’ St. Ben’s Meal Program.

Through her board service, Rev. Nolte brings a faith-informed and people-centered perspective to Cedar Community’s mission of supporting residents and families through every stage of aging.
