Sheri Katzer, BSN, MS, NE-BC

Secretary, Cedar Community Board of Directors

Sheri Katzer serves as secretary of Cedar Community’s Board of Directors and is a member of Cedar Community’s Executive Committee. She brings more than 30 years of nursing experience and a strong commitment to safe, reliable, high-quality care for older adults.

Sheri is a registered nurse and healthcare leader with Froedtert ThedaCare Health, where she serves as director of nursing. For more than 20 years, she has provided leadership for acute inpatient nursing services at Froedtert Health. Her work has focused on advancing quality patient care, developing high-performing teams, and supporting excellence in nursing practice.

Sheri earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of St. Francis. She has maintained ANCC board certification as a nurse executive since 2008.

Her leadership experience includes facilitating Age-Friendly Health System designation for Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and Froedtert West Bend Hospital. She has also led roundtable work focused on improving care for health system elders.

Sheri’s passion for quality elder care directly supports Cedar Community’s mission. Through her board service, she brings clinical leadership, healthcare operations experience, and a deep commitment to strengthening services for older adults and the communities Cedar Community serves.
