Erin Faust, Life Enrichment Director, earned her bachelor degree in therapeutic recreation from UW-LaCrosse. She oversees the life enrichment team members. With each level of care requiring a number of activities, Erin coordinates team member coverage at each building.
From her early beginnings of working with children, to discovering the joy of working with seniors, Erin appreciates that moment of connection with a resident who enjoyed an activity, no matter how hard it can be sometimes to organize.
“I love the fact that we can do so much outdoors at Cedar Community. The place I worked in Milwaukee out of college had a slab of concrete and no green space. Here we offer boat rides and golf cart rides through the trails, and even just sitting among the trees and being in tune with nature makes a world of difference,” says Erin.
