Cedar Community is pleased to announce the addition of four new members to its board of directors: Dee Brown, Lisa Heider, Patrick O’Connor, and Aimee Wiedmeyer.

Their skills and energy will help shape the future of senior living at Cedar Community.”

Dee Brown

Dee Brown brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership to the board. She currently serves as head of human resources at West Bend Insurance Company and previously held the role chief human resources officer at Covenant Living Communities & Services–one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit retirement living organizations. Brown holds a SHRM-SCP® certification and is an active community volunteer, serving on the board of directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Lisa Heider

Lisa Heider brings over 20 years of finance experience spanning healthcare, human services, retail, and manufacturing.She currently serves as chief financial officer at Janeil Biotech, Inc., with expertise in financial strategy, reporting, treasury operations, process improvement, and IT management. Heider is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on multiple boards throughout her career. 

Patrick O’Connor

Patrick O’Connor is a retired commercial banking manager from BMO with over 30 years of experience serving middle- market clients in southeastern Wisconsin. He continues to serve as treasurer for two nonprofit organizations: Historic West Bend Theatre, Inc. and Menomonee Valley Partners, Inc. 

Aimee Wiedmeyer

Aimee Wiedmeyer recently transitioned to a career in real estate with First Weber Realtors after 25 years in senior business operations. She spent 17 years at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, leading global teams in strategy and execution across manufacturing, sales and marketing, and commercial operations–culminating as director of operations for the Harley-Davidson Museum. Earlier in her career, she worked as an engineer in civil and environmental consulting. Wiedmeyer has been actively involved with United Way, Slinger-Allenton Rotary, and Luther Manor Foundation Board.
